Meman Productions was created in 2005 as a creative outlet when I realized that my love for creating websites outweighed my desire to continue my science career. Having recently earned my PhD in pharmacology, I was more interested in creating cool websites than unlocking the secrets of the brain. So I quit science and dove into the world of web development.
I believe in web standards, CSS-based builds, JavaScript that is unobtrusive and degrades gracefully, and PHP/MySQL code that is efficient and secure. I am also a capable web-designer and information architect.
My love for programming, combined with my creative talents in design and scientifically-trained analytical ability make me a natural for web creation and has helped me progress from small personal projects to high profile sites such as Nintendo's Animal Crossing:City Folk and The Met.
